Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy records or other goods from Reasonable Records through this website. Nothing in these terms limits rights that UK consumer law gives you.

Listings and used records

Most records are pre-owned and individual copies can vary. The photographs, pressing information, grading and condition notes on a listing are intended to describe the particular copy offered for sale. Minor characteristics consistent with the stated grade should be expected with used vinyl.

Prices and orders

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery charges are shown separately where applicable. Placing an order is an offer to buy the goods. If an item has already sold, is unavailable, or there has been an obvious pricing or listing error, we may be unable to accept the order and will refund any payment taken for that item.

Availability

Many listings are for a single physical copy. We take reasonable steps to keep stock information current, but availability cannot be guaranteed until an order is accepted.

Wish lists and saved searches

Wish lists are a convenient way to remember individual records. Adding an item to your wish list does not reserve it, guarantee its availability or price, or create an order. Other customers may buy it at any time.

Saved searches let you revisit searches and optionally receive email notifications about matching new listings. Alerts are informational only: they may be delayed, unavailable or affected by differences in search terms, record descriptions or email delivery. They do not guarantee that a matching record is available when you visit the site.

Price-drop notifications

We may email you when a record saved to your wish list is reduced in price. Price alerts are informational, may be delayed, and do not reserve stock or guarantee a price. The price and availability shown when you place an order apply. Remove an item from your wish list to stop receiving its price alerts.

Email sign-in and account access

Wish lists and saved searches use email-based sign-in links. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. You can manage your saved records and searches using the relevant website pages. General new-arrival email subscriptions are managed separately.

Payment

Any payment methods available to you are shown during checkout. You must be authorised to use the payment method supplied.

Cancellation, returns and faulty goods

Your cancellation and return rights are explained on our Returns & refunds page. Your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. Consumers may also have rights to bring proceedings in the part of the UK in which they live.
